Just A Few Amazing Photos

Peter at Holties House had this photo on his February 22nd post
which I thought was worth reproducing here. The reason I'm doing
this is that I received a e-mail with a whole bunch of photos attached
to it showing a number of lightning strikes which I thought I would
share with you.

This is the photo that was on Peter's Blog.

Many thanks to Peter Quinn, who took these photos, so that I could reproduce them here.

I'm going to include a few more photos that were taken during a severe thunderstorm
in Sydney in April 2004.

These were taken overlooking Sydney Harbour. You can see the "coathanger"
the Sydney Harbour Bridge to the left of the photos.

I got a mail with a bunch of the same ones in it.
You added quite a few. They are fantastic.
Thanks for sharing them with us.
Have a fabulous day!

Tremendous photos, Wazza. Storms are great to watch...from a safe spot!

Hi Warren ~~ Great photos and nice to see them on the screen rather than in the sky!! I have a friend who had some very close shaves and he is terrified of lightning.
hTanks for the items you have sent lately - posted one today. I am looking forward to seeing Peter, but it will be a quick visit this time
unfortunately. Take care, Cheers, Merle.

Those are really nice lightening pictures. Have you tried to take one? It is hard to do.
I would say Peters should be titled Clear the Beach!

Hi Warren ~~ What's this about "the new you"? Don't change or we won't recognize you!! I do know of Peter's amazing trait of getting lost!!
Hope you are doing well. I will post the Julie Andrews Song soon. Thanks.
Cheers, Merle.

Hey Wazza, great photos. There is something quite magical, and frightening, about lightning. But, I am really drawn to it. I have managed to capture a couple of lightning shots ... very hard to do, though.
Thanks for sharing.
Take care, Meow
