Spring Is Here
this post is about roses. My mother's favourite flower was a
rose and I must off inherited her love of roses.
One of her favourite places was
It is here that a huge number of roses have been planted and
so today I drove to the park to take and share with you these
photos. I took quite a number of photos so I am going
to include them all here. Be it as it may if you enjoy looking
at photos of roses you are in for a treat.
Unfortunately I do not know the names of the roses.
"There is nothing no more beautiful than a rose"
A Vision
Nothing is more beautiful than a rose,
Except the warmth that fills my heart,
When you're in my vision.
Blooming from within
No feeling could make me want to give so much of myself
If only for a smile.

G'day Warren ~ Well that was nice, and what a beautiful place it must be. Thanks for sharing the roses with us. I think most people like roses
although a lot complain about the thorns. Small price t pay for their beauty and fragrance. Thanks for the items you sent by e-mail. I guess you still miss your Mum. Take care Warren Regards, Merle.
Wow roses and poetry! what's the world comin' to?
Pretty rose pics though.
Hi Warren,Lovely photos of the roses, I used to have about a hundred roses growing in Brisbane, I had a rose garden also at The Palms, you may recall. I still have a few here,a couple in the ground and some in large pots. I love roses, I think also because of my Mother . I have been to weddings in this park. Cheers Margaret
What beautiful roses ... wish I had "smell-o-vision" !!
Take care, Meow
Hi Warren,
What a lovely post ! I LOVE roses and have posted a lot of my rose pictures on my post. At one time I had over one hundred roses- but many have died over this hot summer (I haven't felt up to gardening!)
I have even written poems of roses. :)
Thanks! I enjoyed this!
Junie
